Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Marian is a very motherly silver lady who hates to see her children leave, but tries to make sure they go to good homes.  She is nervous about letting eggs go in part due to being taken by the Datamonster in her own youth.  She was saved and brought back to her overjoyed family, but has remained cautious about her own little ones ever since.  She has a large heart and endless supplies of love to give to all of her family, and loves to curl up with her friend, Locksley, on chilly mornings.
