Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys swimming in a nearby pond.

And look! Its fins and tail have gotten bigger, and you’ve moved it to a larger body of water to swim in. It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

Water dragons are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They usually stay in the same lake for their entire life, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world. When they mature, they lose their legs and the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently...however Damien stopped aging before it could mature. Will Damien be one of the few water dragon exceptions that can survive both on land and water considering the process of losing his legs wasn't complete; is something only time will tell.
