Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

During the dark days of the first Datamonster attack, Six Blade Knife vanished from the caves. He was a young, proud adult, swaggering in his glossy scales. He returned a battered veteran, his pride beaten down and his armor dulled by combat. One eye droops from a long, hooking scar; he no longer boasts of his beauty. From the bullying youngster, he has become a quiet, decisive sort—his experience in protecting two hatchlings and a mere egg mellowed his temper, taught him patience, and gave him the capacity to see past physical strength.

His love for Prodigal Whispers surprised both dragons. Though she is significantly younger than he, he considers her the perfect mate.

Six Blade Knife now spends his days training the SixStar hatchlings in the arts of war.
