Lunar Heralds are deeply attuned to the two moons of Valkemare, Aurax and Cirion. Strictly nocturnal, they draw energy from moonlight and will only hunt when the moons have waned. When breeding, the amount of moonlight the parents receive from each moon will determine the color of the egg produced. When a Lunar Herald is struck by direct moonlight, an illusion of multiple wings may appear. Witnessing a Lunar Herald’s illusory wings is commonly believed to be a sign of good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Many of the flock are afraid of Lune, for they say she consorts with dark forces, and that on dark nights, she leaves for the abandoned temple and performs strange, forbidden ceremonies there.

Lune couldn't give two shakes of a tail at what they think, for she knows it's nothing but lies and jealousy that fuel such gossip. In truth, the reason for her forays to the temple is much simpler: it is her home. As a hatchling, Lune took up the challenge to enter the temple and bring back evidence of a terrible dragon said to live there. But instead, she found a gentle Black known as The Shadow, who adopted the orphan Herald, impressed by her bravery.

Thanks to the teachings of her father figure, Lune has become one of the best hunters in the flock, causing many to become jealous of her skills and, rather than admit her superiority, turned to lies and slander to try and cause her ruin.

Lune just laughs in their faces.
