Mistlet Pygmies thrive in humid environments and are most content when frolicking in the rain or fog. The cheerful demeanor they exhibit provides a remarkable contrast to their shadowy appearance, bringing joy in otherwise gloomy environments. Mistlets are an especially beautiful sight in long summer evenings, as their streak of vibrant scales catch the fading sunlight. They spend a great deal of their time foraging for edible roots and insects, and sometimes enjoy treats in the form of small fish or frogs.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

A gentle, passive creature, this female is very fond of candles. Of course, the nature of her existence has made keeping them far from easy; damp swamps aren't very conducive to fire, and on the rare times that things are dry, there's the issue of starting a fire in the treetops. And yet somehow she manages despite it all, finding ways to create unique waxes and wicks that keep a lovely slow burn despite the humidity, yet never become too searing to be a threat. She often arranges her creations all around and in the old oak she calls home, and seeing the ancient tree lit up at night with hundreds of candles is quite the sight.
