Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It likes to sleep in the sunshine, but it’s more active at night.

And look! Its wings have grown bigger, and it now has large stingers all over the newly split tips of its tail. It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Sukoshi byoki is a young Fever Dragon and has just recently started housing bacteria on her tail. Her bacteria isn't strong enough to kill yet so she only makes her prey sick. This isn't much of a consolation when she is running around and jabbing everything she can just to see how they will react to the sickness that she gives them.

Her name means 'little sickness'.
