Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Drowningsun came from a small, reclusive tribe of orange dragons who have never had much contact with the outside world. Doubtless she would have spent her life there, had not her magic and intelligence soon revealed she was a prodigy. Realizing she could never reach her full potential in that sleepy little place, the elder of the tribe determined that she should be given to a pair of exceptionally talented orange dragons, to be taught and raised as their own.<br/>When she was older, she began teaching at a local college beside their true son, the eccentric, kind-hearted Suntouched, who had been her closest companion and dearest friend since her arrival. She swears they are only friends, but will blush fiercely if asked, and can often be seen gazing dreamily at him during lunch breaks.<br/>She is most talented in her control of water, and loves to plunge and dance in the frothing waves of the ocean that borders her adoptive parent's mansion, her home.
