Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows with some form of arcane energy.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This dragon is famous, or perhaps infamous, for his lifelong dream of fitting things inside himself. Although dragons will often assume that there is some strange metaphorical meaning to this dream, there isn't. Visitors are invited to present him any object they wish, as long as it is sandwich-sized or smaller (larger things are swiftly and viciously thrown back at the owner). Then they watch in amazement as the small hatchling opens his mouth and proceeds to swallow their object, before making a series of loud snapping sounds as he shuts his mouth. Afterward, he apparently becomes incapable of speaking, so anyone who wants their stuff back will have to figure out how to pry his surprisingly strong mouth open again and retrieve the desired object themselves.
