Few dragons embody serenity and potential quite as perfectly as Avatars of Creation. They dedicate their abilities to the arts of healing and growing, and their shimmering scales seem to glow in accordance with their mood. The tendrils of an Avatar of Creation grow slowly throughout its life, and the longer the tendrils grow, the more potent its abilities become.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Named after a human deity of healing, Aesculapius is commonly considered to be living up to his namesake with the tremendous healing power that he possesses. He is, however, more interested in studying the art of healing than actually applying it to help the needed. As such, he never helps the medical team unless his powers are absolutely necessary, and always refuses to help outsiders, stating that he only helps clan members to earn his keep and the well-being of outsiders is none of his business.

Aesculapius' true value to the clan lies in the fact that he does not hesitate to share his knowledge, as he believes that spreading the art within the clan can help him to refine his skills easier. Radiant Light of Creation, a fellow Avatar of Change, is aware of this aspect of Aesculapius' contribution to the clan, and utilizes it to the fullest by doing her best to learn and apply his skills to help those whom he would not.
