Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

His name translates to Little Frills from Latin. He despises the fact that his name is girly when translated, and tries to make up for it by being as tough and stubborn as he can, as well as going by the nickname Instant. He admires the Guardian dragons in the cave, and spends most of his time with them. He, as an ageless hatchling, has the same amount of say as an adult in his cave, and basically herds the hatchlings that will grow up to try and get them to enjoy their youth as well as prepare them for the seriousness of dragonhood.
