At first, to the ignorant, Berry Drakes appear to be relatively harmless. Individuals will wander in search of berries, particularly sweet berries—but where one Berry Drake is, more will follow. What is, at first, one drake taking up home in new land, quickly becomes a mob of Berry Drakes, all packing in to nest together, even pushing native species out of the area—violently, if necessary. Extremely territorial, Berry Drakes will viciously drive away any stray creature that trespasses on the land they have made their home. When excited, threatened, or angry, a Berry Drake will also randomly produce fireballs—although the fireballs are meant to scare away attackers, Berry Drakes have been noted to become distracted by their own fireballs.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Cockatrice is significantly more friendly than other Berries, though that doesn't make him any less intrusive or dangerous. He's quite large and powerful, aided by his gluttonous tendencies, but he has a difficult time understanding his own strength. In an attempt to cuddle another drake or dragon or whatever, he'll often end up crushing them by accident. Cockatrice is not a very violent creature. If anything, he's a more flight over fight kind of guy. He'll only really lash out when cornered, in which case, he'll draw claws, teeth, and fire all at once. But, generally, he is extremely friendly and tame. He's even reluctant to threaten trespassers, not unless they become a problem (i.e touch his food.) It's usually his family who are the greater threats, since they are much more vicious and aggressive to new faces. While he doesn't necessarily hunt, Cockatrice does enjoy running down and catching animals to play with. He doesn't eat or try to hurt them, just play with them.
