Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Lurker in the Depths prefers the cool darkness of the deep ocean. Like his avowed life mate, Dayang Dagat, he has grown to over a league in length, very respectable as ocean going water dragons go. Rather sedentary, he prefers to swim motionless just between the sunlit zone of the surface and the inky black depths. Because of this, his hide is encrusted with barnacles and small coral growths. Another thing he shares with Dagat is a fondness for ocean mammals, most especially whales, and will always help one in distress. As such, he has an abiding hatred for whaling ships; not a few whalers have hung up their harpoons for good after being confronted by Lurker during their mindless pursuit of whales. <br/>Lurker is also fond of storms, where he is often seen swapping friendly insults with his clutch mates Habagat and Unos sa Dilim.
