Falconiform Wyverns are normally shy creatures. However, when approached, they often feel threatened, and the flames along their bodies leap higher. Females tend to be smaller than males, though Falconiform Wyverns are typically rather large overall. They use their size to their advantage by hunting smaller dragons. The Falconiform’s graceful, swooping dives are said to resemble birds of prey. Falconiforms are largely solitary dragons that only meet in order to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

While gruff on the outside, this dragon has a not-often-seen humorous side, usually reserved for his mate. His combat skills are average, but he makes up for that with a fierce dedication to training. As a young dragon, he always knew that he wanted to join the cave's scouting patrol, and so after finishing the initial training the captain of that squad took him in. Now he and his mate, who also joined the scouts, though she isn't much of a fighter, travel beyond the boundaries of their owner's cave to bring back various resources.
