Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

He was a child of both the sky and the sea. Breaching the clouds and soaring deep beneath the waves, changing flawlessly from one element to the other, he was nothing short of a miracle to behold; sailors and aviators alike clamored after his blessings, knowing the gods would not strike down those favored by one so beautiful. Yet even with so much attention given in the hopes of gaining his affections, his first most love remains the joy of wind and water, far happier to spend his days in their caress than to be fawned over by worshipers.
