Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Holy and his brother Tannenbaum were found during the Winter of Wishes, alongside a number of other wild-born holiday dragons. As the first, and only, wild-born Yulebucks at the Breedery, the two got a lot of attention as hatchlings. Maybe not quite as much as the nigh-legendary Hollies, or the spectacular Solstice sisters, but more than enough to go to any young creature's head.
Unsurprisingly, therefore, Holy is a little proud, and convinced of his own importance and that of winter spirit dragons in general. He considers bragging unseemly, though, so he's more likely to simply hold his head high and exude a general attitude of self-importance than to make any specific claims to greatness. Still, he means well, and he has a soft spot for hatchlings and his brother. He sees it as a confirmation of his own specialness that he and Tannenbaum are the ones trusted to pull Lurhstaap's enchanted sled when it's time to go hunting for dragon eggs in the winter, and looks forward to the task.
