Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Meadow is extremely near-sighted and has learned to trust her other senses nearly as much as a Rosebud. But where the Valentine breed can easily live without good eyesight, Meadow is a hunter and has to compensate for much more. She prefers to hunt on meadows rather than in woods as it helps her avoid unwanted collisions and she loves foggy weather when her prey has the same disadvantages she has by nature. During autumn and winter months she gets along pretty well using her techniques, but in the summer she has to rely on her clan mates for support.
