Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Nyxsos was the first dragon in the Dark Sky Clan.  Born to a black and white pair, he stumbled into the cave as a hatchling.  He remained there and soon other dragons began to join him.  He is the Patriarch of Dark Sky and watches the other dragons to ensure his rules are followed.  His rules are meant to ensure the safety of the entire clan and he reacts very badly when they are disobeyed.  He is a warrior and a scholar, protecting and instructing his clanmates.  Typically, the others listen to his advice as he is by far the oldest and wisest.  One of the first three dragons to join him, a skywing named Aquamiar, is his mate and she is the one dragon who's advice he will accept.  Together, they guard and govern Dark Sky Clan.
