Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

You see before you a magnificent beast, a golden dragon. With scales so brilliant it's as if a second sun is being born when he takes flight.
Gold Dragon Thog is one of the rarest and most unique creatures one could hope to encounter. Upon closer inspection blue war paint can be seen marking his face. Whilst this small peculiarity inspires awe and wonder, Thog's defining yet distinct characteristic has yet to be revealed. Where most dragons surround themselves with treasures and gold, this one, fills his cave with a fine collection of decapitated heads. Furthermore, Gold Dragon Thog appears to use the heads as an offering of sorts to his mate in addition to using them entrepreneurially as some sort of scale-brightening device for his company, Thog's Glow N Go.
Strange as it is, this dragon has an undeniable charm, is rich in personality, and is nigh on impossible to dislike.
