Honey Drakes are small, energetic creatures that feed almost exclusively on flower nectar, honey, and insects. The myriad scales covering their bodies protect them from the stings of angry bees as they feed from hives, though these dexterous and wily drakes rarely need the protection. Though notably silent most of the time, Honey Drakes are capable of producing a purr-like thrum that seems to calm bees down, and their ravenous appetite for nectar results in a free meal for the hive, harvested from the drakes’ own scales.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Bee Movie Only Faster, like a single pet in a household, seemed to think that she was a regular dragon. She grew up in a part of the forest that was teeming with bee hives and flowers but no other Honey Drakes. Instead, she found herself living near a large colony of dragons of all types. She followed dragons around, pretending that she was working, fighting, and hoarding just like a regular dragon, but it seemed like just blind mimicking. The other dragons found her extremely cute.

However, one day, everything changed. A colony of Honey Drakes migrated into the area, and Bee Movie Only Faster found herself completely surrounded by them. Her perspective on life was shifted so drastically, that though she adapted to their habits and way of life, she seemed to have lost that chipper personality that the dragons knew.

All of the dragons got together and took her away from her brethren to live with them once more alongside of them. Since then, her happiness returned.
