Few dragons embody serenity and potential quite as perfectly as Avatars of Creation. They dedicate their abilities to the arts of healing and growing, and their shimmering scales seem to glow in accordance with their mood. The tendrils of an Avatar of Creation grow slowly throughout its life, and the longer the tendrils grow, the more potent its abilities become.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

While not as magically talented as his mother, Change is every bit her equal in terms of valor. Rooting out evil wherever it lairs, his ability to momentarily freeze time--albeit for only a second, and at the expense of a great deal of energy--has allowed him to overcome foes much greater than himself in terms of power, his efforts saving many of the lands around him from tyranny and strife. Yet the warrior of justice has his peaceful side, too. More than happy to lounge around when darkness presents no threat, he spends his free time napping in the sun, playing with others... or, most likely of all, going on lackadaisical adventures with his mate, another avatar of creation who is just as righteous and kindly as himself. The serene determination with which they confront evil is quite at odds with the goofier sides they present when all is well, their inane quests and terrible jokes often making their parents lightheartedly gripe that they would have made better avatars of change!
