Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"C'mere! Come'ere. Comereee!"

Such whispers often happen non-stop when one is around this dragon, but only fools actually give in to the beckons--for this lumina is a vain little twit of a thief, angrily robbing the purses of those who "try to be prettier" than himself and running off with the loot! Of course, he's been a lot more mellow of late--probably because he was one of very few dragons who witnessed THE wave. Not just any wave, but the ABOMINABLE WAVE, as it's starting to be called--a spell gone horrifically wrong, a living shadow that ate up half his home country and spat out a void in its wake. Yes, his misty eyes and blank expression haven't helped him perform any robberies lately... so some are hopeful that now he'll turn his life around and realize there's better ways to spend existence than by being a thief.
