Grave Dragons are not named for their connections to death or burial, but for the grave expression on their faces. This strange expression is used as a defense mechanism that causes fits of panic and terror in potential predators. Since they only eat ash and charcoal, they do not hunt. Grave Dragons are powerful fire-breathers and have been known to burn down forests and villages alike to make meals. It is believed that the markings on each Grave Dragon’s wings are the faces of those who have lost their lives in fires started by that dragon.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This particular Grave dragon, who prefers to be called 'Ask' instead of her given name, is quite prone to setting random fires just for the sheer joy of watching flames dance and flicker. Which is nothing remarkable. It must be noted however, that unlike the vast majority of her species, all of Ask's fires have been fairly small. This is not due to a lack of pyromania on her part. Instead, it's because she has taken up with a Green dragon named Malcontent Rl0tr, whom she cares for deeply. His power over earth enables him to douse her bonfires with dirt and sand before they become raging infernos, thus limiting the destruction and sparing any loss of life while still allowing her to produce plenty of food. For this Ask eternally thanks him. She really doesn't want anyone to suffer from her fires!

Together, Ask and Malcontent Rl0tr have adopted the green hatchling Riot-Act, having discovered that they are unable to have a clutch of their own.
