And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Bogey is an avid flier, darting around in the air looking for some innocent passerby to tackle with his ambush. He loves magic but uses it sparingly, and only in these sneak attacks. He claimed he would never grow up and would continue these games until he becomes old and gray as an end result one of the adult Magi in his community froze him in his current hatchling state. He hasn't taken this as punishment, but instead as an excuse to continue his shameless (if playful) attacks.
