Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, smaller in females, aiding both in digging up food and protection from attack. Females are noticeably brighter than males due to their habit of not straying far from particularly algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Schufia is particularly vain for her breed, flaunting any minor characteristics she retained from her golden mother. Whether it be a slightly different crest or a brighter pigment, she's sure to gloat about it. Smug as can be, Schufia looks down upon any dragons without a perfect pedigree and refuses to accept a mate lacking a particularly metallic heritage, making eggs few and far between.

Despite her proud nature, Schufia is a well-read individual. Though what she reads is usually about the characteristics of metallic dragons, she's not one to shy away from valiant war stories of honorable wyverns. If a well-bred hatchling finds its way into her territory, she'll often reenact scenes from her favorite legends for it.

Her vanity often leaves her at odds with the flamingo wyvern flock, generally ending in her trailing behind them on her own until a member feels particularly kind or the breeding season begins; during which she'll flaunt her beauty, hoping to find a suitable mate.
