Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Filnyne's future was very uncertain as he was ready to mature into an adult dragon. Stricken with a terrible sickness of unknown origin, it was uncertain if he would survive. He required round the clock care and strict vigilance if he had any hope of seeing another day. In the end, the effort paid off, and he smoothly made the transition into adulthood. He is smaller than most Tinsel dragons, but to the relief of his tamer, he is healthy. Filnyne loves to hunt rabbits and foxes.
