Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

From birth, this dragon was told that his name would be Lucian. "I've waited years to get this name and it's all for you," his owner said. "You will be cool and fabulous and fiery like my character named Lucian," his owner said. "The female dragons will be arriving in DROVES to bear your sexy orange babies because of your name," his owner said. AND THEN SHE SAID MAYBE A ROYAL CRIMSON WOULD CARRY IT BETTER. Outraged to the max, the dispossessed dragon made a few volcanoes erupt and nearly ate his owner on numerous occasions in retaliation--until his trembling master pointed out that, hey, all the female dragons seemed really impressed with his raw manly psychoticness and probably wanted to have his babies anyway. Realizing that this was true, the magma dragon has since calmed down, and now spends all his time flirting with the ladies or admiring his reflection in a chunk of shiny obsidian.
