Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Emeraldthunder was forced out of her egg prematurely, and in turn she isn't as large as the other female earth dragons. While a runty hatchling, she stayed with her human mother Kira all the time, afraid to be left out of her sight. After growing into adulthood, she is now able to fend for herself, and has been tending to watching over eggs. She helps Kira find eggs that are abandoned, and tries to keep them safe until they hatch. Emeraldthunder currently has no mate. She has no offspring. But rumors are that she may have a crush on Blazingheart, a red male dragon that Kira also raised. Even though Emeraldthunder knows he has already tried courting two other dragons (Nightshade and Netherweave), but she is a bit shy to talk to him. She is a good companion most of the time, and easy-going. She is more of a foster mother, taking good care of the hatchlings she watches over.
