Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Terror of the Rosebush is a female Vampire dragon with a love for Ochredrakes. Since she is surprisingly gentle, it is assumed by most of the dragons that she was a gentle breed before she was bitten. Rosebush's gentleness has also made her a great friend of the Ochredrakes, in particular, a male named Loyal Loner. Loner follows her around all the time, and has even altered his sleeping pattern so that he too can wake at night and sleep by day.

  For Terror of the Rosebush, a medium sized cave at the foot of a mountain in "The Dragon's Teeth" mountain range. She shares the cave with Loyal Loner. A few books and two beds of Pillow dragon fluff are the only objects in her cave. Rosebush refuses to be a member of Terror's gang and only feeds on the blood of animals (usually sheep).

  Terror of the Rosebush is a very happy dragon. Life is great when you have a friend to share it with, in her opinion.
