Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

While famous for his Thuwed parents, Magus simply doesn't care, as evident from his refusal to use or even respond to anyone calling his Saurian name.

He does, however, treasure the extraordinary magical prowess granted by his direct connection to the ancient Thuweds, which he finds extremely helpful for his studies of the lost arts. With support from the clan leadership, Magus is now in possession of a copy of the clan's ancient spellbook, seeking to retrieve the knowledge hidden within, as well as manipulating whatever spell he finds useful with modern techniques to create even more powerful variants of them.

As such, while usually not interested in honing his combat skills, Magus is nevertheless a very dangerous foe in battle, as few understand his seemingly unlimited library of spells, making him almost completely unpredictable.
