Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Iggy was the clan leader of the Doggylee5 dragons for many years, ruling with his queen Kameki and his sons Kamiggy and Grundy well into his twilight years. He saw that an heir was necessary after he accidentally crash landed after what should have been a routine landing. It seemed his health was failing, and while a human could only last a little while with his illness, he has another 300 years or so. Neither of his sons were fit to rule as they were frozen in time as children and would never age. He sired the two-finned bluna Cigarra in an attempt to create an heir while Kameki was away as she refused to have any more children. After retiring and letting Cigarra take over the clan, he and Kameki moved to the top of a gorgeous mountain and are currently living out their days there, watching the sunsets, collecting gems and occasionally eating a nosy knight or two. Iggy is wise and cautious but a kindhearted dragon who enjoys farming oxen in a hidden pasture on his mountain.
