Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Child Angel is known by those close to him as Chris. He is upbeat and lively, exactly like a little innocent angel, and he rarely causes his parents, Life Angel and Darkest Angel, grief. It is said that looking into his eyes when someone is trying to refuse him something is a mistake; he is legendary for captivating the victim with his own brand of immature magic, and then rendering them unable to refuse. His parents are often captured in his charades, and he is not spiteful in the least. He one time had a nasty brush with a wizard that he was trying out mind-reading magic on, and came out of it unable to age any further. But he still learns, and it is a strange thought to think when he reaches the time he should mature, he will be an intelligent dragon in a dragonet's body.
