Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This loud, bombastic Aegis is obsessed with two things—noodles and humans—and he's determined to 'capture' the latter, though he's not quite sure what that entails. He frequently sets up complex, overwrought puzzles, hoping to bamboozle the local human that occasionally visits the clan with provision and new eggs. What he'll do then, he doesn't really know, but he's quite implacable when he's set his mind on something. If nothing else, he has plenty of time to figure it out, because he has yet to capture anything. The hatchlings think his puzzles are great fun, however—and thus Pahpyrus manages to spread around holiday cheer, no matter how unintentionally.
