Among the most elusive of dragon breeds are the Aeon Wyverns, a breed whose innate control over time mana marks them singular and great. They are able to peer into the multi-dimensional plane of time, seeing all that is, all that has been, and all that could be—within a small localized zone. When utilizing particularly strong magic, the black markings carved into an Aeon’s body glow a bright cyan, painting them in an ethereal blue light. In the past, they have been sought after as oracles to bring swift resolutions to major conflicts, but it is in exactly such sorts of times that they are nowhere to be found; rather than influence the outcome, Aeons much prefer to allow the natural order of things to progress, however grim that may be.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Aeon Wverns are widely known for their command of time magic and their flawless ability to tell the future. Cynder despises this cliche more than anything—being able to see the possibilities laid out before her in the time stream doesn't mean she knows what will actually happen.

And in her experience Aeons are extremely prone to act inspired by their literal pre-judices. She's convinced that it's ethically questionable at best to ban a dragon from the family because of something they might do—no matter the probabilities. Whenever her brethren try to argue with her about this, Cynder points to herself—foretold to be male by her father and all her relatives—yet undoubtedly female. Faced with the fact that her biological gender is indeed male Cynder just shows a toothy grin and states "my point exactly—even Aeons can't know EVERYTHING."
