Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of a different type of mana, making them powerful magic users. Thalassas are a unique variety of Xenowyrm in that they are the only subspecies known to dwell in marine environments. Their porous skin and slender build are perfectly suited for the aquatic terrain, but they can only survive for short periods of time on land. Powerful users of water magic, they can create large waves and alter currents with a simple thought.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Far beyond the the sea you'll find
A Xenowyrm with pale blue eyes.
You will hear him shriek and wail
But he will never cry.
He stares at you with an ice cold gaze
And in those eyes you see-
A longing for the better days
That long ago slipped free.
No tears to shed
For they were bled
Into the salty sea.
And in the eyes
You can see the cries
Of the will to be let free.
Before the time of human-kind,
This Xenowyrm swam with kin.
But once man stepped on Valkemare,
They started doing sin.
"Tame the beast!"
"Tie him up!"
"He'll be used for profit and gain!"
And never again did this dragon,
Ever see his home again.
He sits in the shallow water,
In which the captors have left him.
Only wishing that he could swim farther,
Farther than his cage's rim.
He's left to rot all by himself
In the lost village of the men,
And to any passerby nowadays,
He'll cry for his home again.
