Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Akakios came from a respectable and noble dragon line. Her parents wanted her to become a good Law Keeper dragon but she had some other things on her mind. Once she turned from hatchling to adult, Akakios left the clan to join the Dark Sun, a criminal dragon group.

'Akakios' means 'not evil', but Akakios' character is totally of the opposite. She is wicked and merciless with a heart that beats only for herself and no one else. She has a short temper, and except the dragons in the clan, no outsider dragon has ever survived her savage fury. Her scales carry a lot of scars, trophy from her numerous battles but it doesn't make Akakios ugly at all. Instead, her scars give her a wild and fierce beauty like a thorny rose that one admires but doesn't dare to touch.

Magic only exists as a faint thread in her, but Akakios' strongest attack, her poisonous breath makes up for it. The attack can wipe out a whole region and thus, makes her one of the most deadly dragons of the Dark Sun.
