Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Whirlwind is a rather outgoing holiday dragon, a fighter of sorts. Although not very often, she wouldn't mind getting her claws dirty for those she cares for.

During the holiday season, she loves to soar through the sky, swirling and diving to show off her glistening scales. It may come off as narcissistic, and it's not wrong, but it's also because flying is a fun activity for her, and her wings come of use for diving.

She has a fiery temper, and if someone angers her, they'd be better off fleeing. But she is also very emotional and rather whiny at times, which tends to balance out her attitude.

She loves fighting for justice, and will often get involved in conflicts that aren't her own. But despite this, she is very joyful and caring, and loves her job of spreading holiday cheer.
