Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragoness lives on top of an active volcano and generally spends her time relaxing in—or at least very close to—the open lake of magma. She has actually done quite a bit to redecorate the volcano once she got there, like establishing an overflow basin and a funnel. These changes insure that neither the fumes nor sudden outbursts disturb her relaxing baths.

The humans in the area have noticed how the area has grown a lot more quiet since the resident 'spirit of the mountain' was appeased by the offering of a cow and so they now regularly lead cattle up the mountain range to keep the goddess happy and their villages safe.

BBQ has no idea why she has food delivered to her doorstep but she enjoys beef as much as the next dragon and won't complain if she doesn't have to leave her hot tub for too long just to hunt.
