Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Young Janet is a dragon that prides herself on her speed. She is one of the fastest dragons on the forest floor, and she lives for the thrill of victory. She also loves obstacle courses, and is very agile.

   She constantly asks other dragons to race her and has only been beaten by one other dragon, Garett the Faster. Garett the Faster is her rival and arch nemesis. She hates him, and he hates her in turn. However, some say that if she would just stop blindingly hating him for a second, she would notice that he has feelings for her. She thinks that is utter nonsense.

   She lives in a poisonous forest, in a cave near Jasper's cave. She is one of the few dragons that can venture through the forest without being killed.
