Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Many think Silver, Gold, or Tinsel dragons to be arrogant, commanding, and overall stupid. "Ah metals, keep those useless guys away from me" is an often heard phrase among the more cynical or common members of dragon kind. "They always act as if they were something better, talking about responsibility and honour and claiming to have high moral standards but when push comes to shove, they will leave the actual work to others."

Only Celebel is different. He actually holds himself to the high standards many of his brethren just claim to cherish. He doesn't judge anyone by anything but their deeds and he will treat an honourable, inbred Mint dragon with higher regard than a corrupt, 'caveborn' Gold. He has no qualms about risking his own neck to fight evil or protect the weak, and he would rather die than compromise his principles. Through his strength of character and his unpretentious personality he has managed to convince quite a few dragons that maybe not ALL metallics are useless.
