Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is rather pale in color and likes to sleep while balancing on one leg.

And look! It has grown wings and is much brighter! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This young female is exceedingly jealous of the local Pink hatchlings' balancing abilities. Just the sight of them standing perfectly on a single paw for hours and getting all cheery about being helpful influence-controlling adults in the future makes her sick. As such, she does her best to terrorize them at every possible opportunity, and has vowed to eat all of their babies when she's an adult. Her parents are very proud of her dedication.
