It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ever since her arrival within the clan from a faraway land, Princess Exquigla L'Han has been a force of wonder among her fellow purple dragons. Despite her lofty royal title, she has a very hardworking, no-nonsense attitude which lends itself to all of the responsibilities she has chosen to undertake as an assistant leader. Everything the Princess does, she does well, many will say—and even when she struggles at a task, she consistently tackles it with valiant effort.

Those who look up to her often ask her just how she maintains such order and peace among her clan's purple dragons, some of which are notoriously mischievous and often up to no good. Her answer is very wise, yet very simple: "I do not fight with my kin, I work with them. I do not punish my kin, I educate them. And I do not see my kin as lesser beings below me, but rather, as the beloved family I always wished to have. For it is only when we are together that we are strong...and a happy family will always be together."
