Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Adazupath was found before she was a hatchling, as an egg outside of a dragons cave. She had been touched by humans, so her mother forgot about the poor little egg. She hatched easily, without any sickness and within six days she was a cute little wingless hatchling. Again, without any sickness she grew her wings and grew up to be a very beautiful golden dragon. Adazupath is the type of dragon to who like to be alone, and just lounge on her piles of jewels and gold and read a nice ancient book, so despite her very large abundance of gold all over her, and shining scales, which draws her unwanted attention. She's a very normal dragon with a love of literacy. Though that all changed, a silver egg was found and has hatched, his name is Seaamros and he breeds with Adazupath and she's just so infatuated with him, it's rather cute really.
