Black Tea Dragons have small scent glands on the underside of their wing arm that release a pleasant scent. Though many creatures enjoy being in the vicinity of Black Tea dragons, the scent is intended to draw in swarms of butterflies. Though Black Tea dragons are full sized dragons, these insects are the mainstay of their diet.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

First and foremost, Smellsong can be described as a dream-chaser. From a young age, she'd heard legends on the other continents of humans, a mythical race of small yet resilient creatures who could compete even with Stone dragons for resources. Some, though, were said to be friends of dragons, even caring for hatchlings and eggs in their friendship with the scaled race. Smellsong was delighted by these stories as a hatchling, and now, as an adult, she finds herself still fascinated by them, looking for any trace that they are based in fact. Since coming to the Weyr of Flame with her family, she's been researching the stories of an immortal human who used to live with the Old Featherwing Weyr. So much time has passed since those days that many no longer believe there ever was a human caretaker before the Great War, but Smellsong has interviewed enough older dragons to have some leads to go on that may, eventually, lead her to real and conclusive proof of human existence!
