Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Unlike the other hatchlings, this one hatched with wings.

And look! Its back legs have become a second set of wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Arrow is a speedy little thing. He loves racing through the clouds, chasing birds and other dragons. He's incredibly playful, and a bit of a chatterbox, and is almost always seen with a throng of other hatchlings tagging along with him. While he isn't exactly a mean dragon, that doesnt stop him from teasing some of the weaker hatchlings in his cave.
