Avatars of Destruction possess a volatile disposition. They thrive on chaos and decay, and their horns and plated scales are as hard as forged metal. Because of their affinity with darkness and the destructive forces of nature, it was once thought that these dragons were omens of ill fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Assistant and, some say brother, others say mate, of Labortina and a creature of considerable power in his own right, Smaug does all he can to assist his fellow avatars of destruction to foil and frustrate those of creation. To do this he and the others attempt to sow chaos and decay in the natural world. Ultimately, this helps keep the natural world in balance, and the dragons of the clan revere the avatars for their powers and their contributions. Among the clan it is believed that the avatars of destruction... and by extension their hellhorse emissaries... represent the messengers of death and decay in the world, and as such their appearance is viewed as a sign of impending trouble for the clan. Therefore, it is the law in the clan that ANY avatar sightings are to be reported to the court immediately.
