Aria dragons are a brightly-colored and sprightly breed, perhaps most adored for their lyric calls. Their song-like melodies fill the areas they inhabit; their coos resemble those of birds, only more elegant and refined. They have fairly strong magical capabilities, but tend to reserve these strengths for last-minute defense, choosing to live their lives in simple peace. Arias, sticking to the tropics, typically live quite far from human settlements, giving rise to the previously held belief that they had gone extinct.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Many consider Sevana a docile dragon, as she only involves herself in fights if there is a serious problem. But really, she is just lazy. Instead of exerting herself in a battle or spar, she just watches, secretly enjoying the fact that while two other dragons are bloody and sweaty, she is clean and relaxing in the sun. Sevana lives only in places with plentiful food all year round because she is not up to the work of gathering and storing food for the harder months. Each day is an opportunity to laze about, and there are no worries. Sevana's friends and family look down on her for her laziness, but in all honesty, there is no need for her to not be lazy. In the great Datamonster attack of '09, she was one of the many dragons to be eaten. All hope was lost for Sevana, but then TJ09 arrived with his army of vampire dragons! Armed with the awesome power of 42, TJ cut Sevana from the belly of the beast. Sevana is a huge fan of TJ, though she mourns for the dragons who could not be saved.
