Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has two heads. You expected it to have some color, though.

And look! It has grown wings and changed color! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This little hatchling tries very hard to get along with herself, but she has very definite and usually opposing perspectives on nearly any controversial matter. Her heads often argue, each trying to get the other to see their point of view. To avoid flaring tempers and violence, each head pretends to be humble as they state their opinion; however, typically neither head changes their mind regardless of how adamantly the other head presents their case.
