Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Separated from her birth parents when she was still in the egg, Belle was adopted by Stoneshoulders and Basalti almost instantly. Their care, as well as the love and protection of the rest of the pack, has helped make her into a vibrant, confident, beautiful adult. Rather than feeling like an outcast or a loner, she feels tremendously lucky to have been brought into such a caring and well-coordinated group.

She is extremely proud of the crystalline growths lining her wings, though she often has to nip at Dire Earth when he tries to "collect" them. Oddly enough, if the hatchlings get restive and need something to turn their destructive attentions to, she will gladly shed a number of shards for them to chew on (for which Apatogon is eternally grateful).
