Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts spring weather.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This militant little creature is a proper terror. She loves to create art, but the materials she uses for her paints are... of questionable origin and smell bad, even if her end results do look beautiful. But the stench remains and has driven many people to stay away from her masterpieces. This upsets her greatly, and she will stalk down the offenders, slapping them wildly until they lose consciousness. She then paints rude symbols and words on their fainted selves with more of her stinky paint, and then skips happily back to her gallery of beauty.
