Nhiostrife Wyverns are one of the few known breeds of wyvern with more than one set of wings. Because of their four wings, Nhiostrifes are very nimble in the air and control their movements with ease. When it’s mating season, males put on a very beautiful and unique air dance in an attempt to charm a female. The amount of stripes on their wings vary, with more stripes being more attractive, although most have only two to four. Their general attitude is very passive and curious—they only fight if they or their families are in danger.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Most nhiostrife wyverns use their aerial grace for refined purposes. Males use it to court, females use it to seduce, both genders use it to display their skill and evade predators.

This female, however, has something far better in mind.

Nearly as lazy as a daydream dragon and more skilled on the wing than a skywing, this laid-back lady uses her flight skills to snitch food on the wing. Grapes from wineries, chickens in yards, pies from windowsills--all these and more she scoops up without missing a beat, cheerfully carrying on through the air while the enraged cries of her victims echo in the distance. While she could use her abilities to snatch food from uncultivated places, such as wild fruit trees or game birds, not having someone screaming at her while she makes off with the loot ruins half the fun.
